Anime Wallpapers
362 wallpapers
Anime is the second-largest collection on the site and the one with the widest range of styles — from dense, high-detail fight frames to flat, near-minimal character portraits that hold up as a phone background without fighting your icons.
What is in this collection
Coverage is weighted towards long-running shonen: Dragon Ball and its Super-era transformations are the deepest single vein, alongside One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen and Naruto. Sub-collections exist for individual characters where the volume justifies it — see the Naruto and Toji Fushiguro pages beneath this one.
Choosing one that actually works as a wallpaper
Anime art divides into two useful groups, and the distinction matters more than the series. Detailed action frames — multiple characters, energy effects, busy backgrounds — look spectacular in a preview and become cluttered behind a home screen full of icons. Character portraits on flat or gradient backgrounds do the opposite: unremarkable in a grid, excellent in use.
If the wallpaper is for a lock screen, favour compositions with negative space in the upper third, where the clock sits. If it is for a desktop, the busy pieces work well because you are not layering icons across the middle of the frame.
A note on upscaled art
A lot of anime wallpaper elsewhere on the web is a small source image enlarged with sharpening, which produces the halo edges and smeared linework you will recognise once you have seen it. Each page here lists real pixel dimensions, so you can check what you are actually getting before downloading. If a piece you like is smaller than your screen, our free AI upscaler handles anime linework better than a generic sharpen pass.
What is here, and what is not
Worth being straight about the shape of this collection. Depth is concentrated in a few long-running series rather than spread evenly — Dragon Ball, One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen and Naruto carry most of it, and a lot of well-known shows have little or nothing here. If you are after a specific series, the fastest check is the tag list rather than scrolling this page and hoping. Where a character has accumulated enough art to justify it, we split them out into their own page beneath this one, which is why Naruto and Toji Fushiguro have dedicated collections and most characters do not.
On rights
Characters, designs and series names belong to their creators, studios and publishers. Downloading for your own screen is fine. Commercial use of a recognisable character is not something our licence can grant.
Frequently asked questions
What resolution should an anime phone wallpaper be?
Match or exceed your screen. Most current phones are between 1080x2400 and 1290x2796, so anything at or above that will stay sharp. Below it, the operating system upscales and anime linework is unusually unforgiving of that — edges soften and flat colour areas band.
Are anime wallpapers here official artwork?
No. This is a curated library of fan art, edits and community-shared imagery, not official studio releases. Characters and designs remain the property of their creators and publishers.
Which anime has the most wallpapers on Pixbee?
Dragon Ball, counting the Super-era transformations, is the deepest single series, followed by One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. The dragon-ball and one-piece tags are the fastest way into each.
